Bowing to kings, leaders and elders is a sign of respect in many countries around the world. When you bow to humans, you only gain their favor for a limited time. And you won't always get what you expect from them. On the contrary, bowing to the Lord our God is a lifestyle that will impact every area of your existence.
Whether you physically kneel in prayer and worship, or spiritually humble yourself before the Lord Jesus Christ, it is an act of great humility. Bowing before the Lord involves acknowledging His authority over your life, submitting to Him, and believing that He is in control. It is an act of worship, an expression of your belonging to Him and your gratitude for who He is and what He has done for you. When you humble yourself before the Lord, He will strengthen you.
This Sunday, let's start the day with the right attitude, the one recommended by King David himself. Let us worship and bow before our God. Let us kneel before the Lord our Creator. Let us submit to the Lord, remaining obedient to His will!
This morning we want to turn to God together and say: Lord God, thank you for everything you do for me. I want to praise you with all my heart. Help me to be faithful to you in everything. In the Name of Jesus... Amen!
