There are people willing to pay millions of euros to get their hands on an original work of art. One-of-a-kind art objects are always more expensive than common mass-produced objects. These unique creations are also more preserved and treasured than their ordinary counterparts. But the most precious creation on all earth is not a painting, an ancient artifact, a sculpture, a breathtaking landscape, a beautiful sky, or a majestic mountain range. The most precious creation is you!
When God created you, He carefully selected your physical characteristics, your thought patterns, your abilities, and everything that you are. There is no one else in the world like you: there never has been and there never will be anyone else. Even twins who look similar are not entirely identical: they each have their own uniqueness.
Today's verse reminds us that we are God's workmanship. Just as every created thing has a purpose, you too have yours. God has already prepared the good works that you will carry out in this world. If you feel lost, wondering who you really are and what you are in the world for, don't despair. God has a unique purpose for you. Seek Him, read His Word, talk to Him, and He will reveal the glorious things He has planned for you.
Today we want to pray together and say: God the Father, thank you for creating me as I am. Show me the purpose you have outlined for my life. Help me to use my talents, resources, and time to glorify Your Name. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
