Trials are very common and affect everyone, but for those who are in Christ they will strengthen their character and their faith.
Living a life of faith is quite challenging when we are faced with difficult issues and/or circumstances. We go through financial failures, health problems, workplace difficulties, spiritual challenges, etc. As believers, we need to go back to what God's word says about trials. It teaches us that when we are tested with these things in life and when we endure and face them with patience, we will receive the crown of life. This is the promise that the Lord has made to all those who love Him. Refuse to stop trusting God when times are tough. Continue to continually trust and hope in God. Some stressors are so severe that they may try to suffocate you and want to shut down your faith. When you are surrounded by a myriad of difficult things that try to affect you or make you lose faith in God, remain steadfast in your belief and confession that God is always good and will never let you be defeated.
It only takes a little distraction to take your eyes off God and believe that circumstances govern you. Never let this happen. If you want to receive the crown of life, hold on to the Lord.
Today we want to pray together and say: God the Father, thank you for everything you do for me. Guide my life with Your word. Help me face everything with Your help. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
