Listening is almost an art. Some express their thoughts and words without thinking twice. Others may hesitate to speak up, preferring instead to process their thoughts internally. But listening isn't always so natural. Especially in this age where we always have a smartphone at hand, and it's easy to get distracted by notifications and we often take a peek at the phone while someone is talking to us.
Today's proverb, who speaks is wisdom. She challenges us, pushes us to listen and observe her ways. The world searches for wisdom on Google, in the library or in the words of an expert. But true wisdom can only be found in the Word of God. The Bible is a treasure trove of wisdom, equipping us for every situation we may face in life.
Do you need encouragement when you're feeling down? Read the Bible. Do you need advice on what to do? Pay attention to what the Word of God says. The Lord speaks to us through His word, encourages us and prepares us to face our daily lives. Take time to listen to what God is telling you and apply it in your life. It will definitely be a blessing for you.
This morning we want to pray together saying: Heavenly Father, thank you for Your word. Thank you for what you do for me. I want to listen to you and observe all your teachings. Instruct me to do Your will in everything. In the Name of Jesus... Amen!
