This is how Jesus invites people to him. He cares for us and is concerned about us, about our situation. Everyone who came to Jesus found a purpose for their life. They were refreshed and no longer felt the same as before.
In this world we face many difficulties. There are struggles at every step. Some people try to manage their lives alone. They think they are their own best guides. Some cannot accept help from others. While the world is busy trying to help itself, hoping to solve its problem on its own, there is the loving Jesus who with open arms invites everyone to come to Him. Whoever accepts his invitation will find rest. There is peace and security in the arms of Jesus. Stop trying to help yourself with your own thinking and resources. You just need someone older than you to turn to. Jesus is ready to welcome you regardless of whatever you are going through. Find your rest in Jesus.
Maybe you are full of pain and desperately need help. All you have to do is simply go to Jesus and change your burden with the rest and peace that only Jesus can give you.
Together we pray to the Lord telling him: God of love, I thank you for your word. Thank you for your great love. I want to trust only in you. Give me your peace... In the name of Jesus, Amen!
