Wouldn't it be nice to always have someone by your side, guiding you, assisting you and watching over you during your day? While it is practically not possible to have another human being by your side 24 hours a day, the Bible promises you something better. When we believe in Jesus and follow him, God himself comes to live in us.
The Holy Spirit is our guide and constant companion. He is always available to help us, comfort us and advise us. But do we recognize His presence in our daily lives? You can live an abundant life by recognizing God from dawn and throughout the day.
As the Psalmist points out in today's verse, when God is with us, we will have His help in every circumstance. When we remain in communion with God from dawn to dusk, we have the assurance that He will help us, no matter what. The next time you see the sun rise, take a moment to stop and thank God for His presence in your life. It will truly be a blessed day!
Together we pray to the Lord telling him: God in heaven, thank you for what you do for me. Thank you for how you help me every day. Help me in every circumstance. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
