The Bible says very little about Jesus during the years between His birth and His public ministry. There is the case where twelve-year-old Jesus is found in the temple. But if we were to summarize the first 30 years of Jesus' life on earth, this morning's verse is perfect.
Jesus grew and became stronger. We are disciples of Jesus and we too must follow His example, striving to constantly grow. Even though we may stop growing physically at a certain age, we must never stop growing spiritually.
The Holy Spirit who lives within us longs to teach us, so that we can grow in the wisdom and grace of God. Every day open your mind, study God's Word, spend more and more time in His presence, and grow closer to God The Lord will fill you with wisdom to make the right choices in your life and with strength to persevere and accomplish great things for His glory.
Today we want to pray together to the Lord saying: Father of Love, I come to You. I desire to grow in Your ways. Help me with Your strength and Your wisdom. In the name of Jesus... Amen!
